There are so many fabulous places to go in Mexico, but perhaps the most magical is the Baha. I drove down there with a friend in a Dodge van that was camped out for the road. Getting to the Sea of Cortez, where this picture was taken, meant driving on washboard gravel for about 30 miles, but it was worth it. We were there in March, when the gray whales were mating, so it was quite something to see.
On the Baha you can camp out anywhere. Here we are in Mulege.
